Golden Age

This coloring book was created in 2017. During this time I was doing a lot of research in regards to the blackface era of entertainment and the racism prevalent in the early days of some of the world's most iconic animated entities. All pieces from this body of work was printed on brown paper as a representation of the paper bag test many black people of early entertainment had to endure to get employment.
